Summer of Service (S.O.S.) Program  (Entering Grades 6-9)

Join us at Paynesville Area Community Education for a summer dedicated to service! Youth will be empowered to work together and serve others in their community by volunteering their time. This is an excellent opportunity for your gain real on-the-job training. Youth can work in a variety of our programs and will be supervised by Kris O’Brien, our Community Education Director. Examples of volunteer opportunities include coach’s assistant in our soccer and T-ball programs, helping in PAWS School Age Care Camps, live streaming sporting events, and volunteering at a community site. A mandatory volunteer meeting is on May 21 from 3:30-4:30 PM at the PACC. Please bring your summer calendars to the meeting, as volunteer positions will be assigned based on the student’s availability and preferred time commitment.
