Mid Minnesota Swim Lessons
Develops competency in swimming, along with confidence and endurance. Children will advance to the next level when he/she can proficiently and safely perform the skills within his or her level.Full description of levels can be found online at www.paynesvillece.com.Levels are consistent to Red Cross Swim Levels.Students need to arrive dressed and ready for lessons.No one will be allowed to change after class.One guardian/spectator is allowed during class hours due to capacity limits Bring your own towel No Hot Tub No Kiddie Pool Do not enter pool until instructor gives permission Preschool Swim- (4 & 5 year olds). Classes will focus on basic water safety, entry, exit, blowing bubbles, submerging mouth, nose, eyes, and ears. Introduction to floats and stroke fundamentals using songs, games and play. Does not require parent in Pool.Level I- Water Exploration (Pre-Beginners) Level I is to help students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely. Students start to develop good attitudes and safety practices around the water. Level I skills include: fully submerge face, buoyancy and breath control, supported float on front & back, blowing bubbles, water entry & exit, locomotion (walk through water safely) and supported kicking on front and back. *Child must be at least 3 feet tall and be able to stand in the pool independently. Level II- Primary Skills (Beginners) Level II gives students success with fundamental skills. Students learn to float without support and to recover to a vertical position. This level marks the beginning of true locomotion skills and adds to self-help and basic rescue skills. Level II skills include: hold breath and fully submerge head, retrieve objects, orientation to deep water, prone float of glide (unsupported), supine float of glide (unsupported), rhythmic breathing, step from the side into chest deep water, get out at side of pool, flutter kick on front and back, finning on back, back crawl arm action combined, stroke front , etc.Level III- Stroke Readiness (Beginners +) Level III is to build on the skills in Level II by providing additional guided practice. Level III skills include: coordinate the front & back crawl, elementary backstroke, fundamentals of treading water.

Jr. Bulldogs Preschool & PAWS Wraparound Childcare 2024-25 Registration will open at 8 am on March 18, 2024 3 Year Old Preschool Program Our 3 year old program offers 3 day and 2 day options in the morning for preschool. Enrichment activities such as art, music, literature, dramatic play, and language will be introduced. This is an excellent first school experience for young learners. 3-Day Preschool- $51/week 2-Day Preschool-$34/week Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:10 am -10:55 am Tuesday/Thursday 8:10 am -10:55 am 4 Year Old Preschool Program Our 4 year old program is a 5-day program offered either in the morning or the afternoon. This program is an excellent opportunity to provide that extra boost prior to Kindergarten. Students will develop their social, cognitive, and problem solving skills through hands on activities in STEM, art, music, language, dramatic play, and enrichment activities. *5-Day Morning Preschool-$75/week *5-Day Afternoon Preschool-$75/week Monday-Friday 8:10 am -10:55 am Monday-Friday 12:10 pm -2:55 pm Little PAWS Wraparound Care with 4 Year Old Preschool Our wraparound child care is designed to provide enriching child care in conjunction with Jr. Bulldogs Preschool Program. This program is available for students enrolled in the 4 Year Old Preschool Program only. Wraparound care provides students with an all day experience on their scheduled preschool days. Little PAWS for Morning Preschool-$61/week Little PAWS for Afternoon Preschool- $61/week Monday-Friday 10:55 am -2:55 pm Monday-Friday 8:10 am -12:10 pm *We reserve the right to move preschool students whom are enrolled in 4 year old Preschool AND Wraparound Care to different sections to balance class sizes & ratios. For Students Preschool (4 year old) to Grade 5 Each child in PAWS will be nurtured, kept safe and encouraged to pursue their own interests, develop friendships, independence and confidence. Our goal is to ensure the success of children in our communities by establishing positive relationships, providing educational and recreational activities and offering opportunities for children to share ideas and feel valued. Feel confident that PAWS offers the very best care, with lots of age appropriate activities that help your child grow. Activities range from: walking field trips, gym time, group games, art projects, reading, math, choice time, and more! To enroll participants must be toilet trained and have the ability to self regulate and successfully participate in small group activities without primary one on one assistance.
