    Intro to Chess

    Learn the timeless game of strategy, logic, and creativity! In this beginner-friendly class, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of chess — from learning the names and movements of each piece to understanding basic tactics, checkmates, and opening principles. Through guided instruction, hands-on practice, and friendly matches, participants will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and concentration skills.

TKD also helps strengthen and tone muscles, improves flexibility, increases cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and can help control weight. This is an activity that is meant to be life long. Belt promotions are done throughout the year. Additional costs for testing nights and equipment are not included in the class fee.

  • Spring Flag Football Gr 2 & 3

    Come join us for our Spring second and third grade flag football. This program will provide fun for all the participants while teaching them some football skills.
  • Spring Volleyball Camp Grades 1-4

    Join our Varsity Volleyball Coaches for our Spring Bulldog Volleyball Camp. Learn the fundamentals of volleyball in a fun and supportive environment. Be ready to have some fun and learn the game of volleyball. There was a misprint in our Spring book. Correct dates are APRIL 27, 28, and 30.
  • West Central Area Baseball Grades 3-6

    This is a recreational travel league that will play other area teams. In the past games have been in the evenings on Tuesdays or Thursdays depending on the age level of the team. Please sign up based on grade completed. Pee Wee - 3rd and 4th Grade Junior Varsity - 5th and 6th Grade
  • West Central League Summer Softball 10U-12U

    Travel teams will be created based on the athlete’s age as of August 31, 2025. They will be placed on teams and will travel or host games on Tuesday or Thursday nights depending on age throughout June and July. *Infielder masks are highly encouraged, but not provided. *Dates are subject to change.
  • Jr. Baseball

    Junior Baseball will introduce pitching and catching to our players. We will spend about 50% of the time developing skills through specific drills, the rest of the time learning team play through structured games. Games will be scheduled within our own league and a mini-tournament with neighboring towns. Incrediball’s (softer baseballs) will be used. Parent coaches needed.

    Rookie ball is the next step in our progression to baseball and softball. In Rookie Ball players will be using the T for a limited time and then the coach will pitch. Incrediball’s (softer baseballs) will be used. Parent coaches are needed.

We will teach the basics of throwing, hitting and fielding in a series of fun and instructive lessons and by playing games. Through these drills and games we will incorporate the team aspects of softball. Incrediball’s (softer softball) will be used. We will arrange games with neighboring towns. A schedule will be emailed out the first week. Parent coaches are needed.

    Terrific Tuesdays Grades 2-5

    Elementary students will explore creativity and technology during Terrific Tuesdays in the Innovation Center. Each class offers 2–3 hands-on project options using tools like 3D printers, a Glowforge laser engraver, sublimation printer, Cricut vinyl cutters, and a button maker. Students might design and print 3D objects, create custom stickers or iron-on shirt designs, engrave projects, or experiment with epoxy. With different project choices each week, kids can follow their interests while building skills in design, creativity, and problem-solving in a fun, supportive environment.
  • Girls Summer Volleyball Grades K-4 (completed)

    Pass, serve, set, spike and team play! This is our summer volleyball camp for our younger players. They will get an introduction to volleyball and have lots of fun learning. Each participant will receive a Bulldog Volleyball T-Shirt. Register for grade completed.

    Daily skill building drills that will improve their ball handling, passing and shooting abilities.Session ends with fun and competitive games where the players will have the opportunity to utilize the skills they have practiced during the camp.
  • Gem Dogs Gymnastics

    School Aged Gymnastics Program Mobility through our school-aged program is based on ability testing using skill benchmarks. Tumble with Me-(Age 3-4)- A class for preschoolers with their 16+ chaperone to join along. Classes will include instruction on floor, beam, bars, vault, and mini-tramp. Students will work on large motor skill development, stretching and balance. Intro to Gymnastics- (Ages 5-12)-This class is for beginning gymnasts ages 5-12 who are NOT able to perform a cartwheel to a feet first landing. Gymnasts will work on vault, bars, beam and floor along with focusing on growing their strength and confidence. Tanzanite - (Age 5-12)-This class is for gymnasts age 5 & up who are able to perform a cartwheel to feet first landing and a straight-arm bridge. Gymnasts will work on vault, bars, beam and floor along with focusing on growing their strength and confidence. Emerald - (Age 6-12)-This class is for gymnasts ages 6 & up who are able to perform a 5 second straight arm bridge, a forward roll with legs together, backward roll, 3/4 handstand, levering cartwheel w/straight arms, bridge kick over from a mat & lightly spotted pullover, and forward, backward, sideways walks on medium beam and walk unassisted on high beam. Gymnasts will continue to gain strength and confidence while improving key gymnastics shapes and basic skills necessary for more advanced gymnastics. Ruby - (Age 6-12)-This class is for students ages 6 & up who are able to perform a vertical handstand on floor, levering cartwheel w/straight arms & legs, bridge kick-over w/straight legs on floor, round-off from panel mat, beginning back handspring shapes with spot, pull-over on bars, high toe walks on high beam, cartwheel on low beam and straight jump off springboard on mat. Gymnastics will continue to improve key gymnastics shapes and basic skills necessary for more advanced gymnastics. More emphasis will be placed on precision and mastery of key shapes and presentation. Diamond- (Age 6-12)-This class is for students ages 6 & up who are able to perform a forward roll, backward roll, levering cartwheel w/a lunge, handstand from lever, round-off, back limber, bridge kick-over from floor, pull-over on low bar, straight jump on medium beam and a stuck cartwheel on the low beam. Gymnasts will begin focusing on more advanced skills needed to move into the competitive gymnastics program. More emphasis will be placed on precision and mastery of key shapes and on presentation. This level will begin combing skills, along with the introduction of more dance elements. High School Team-(Entering Grades 7-12)-Are you interested in being a part of the Paynesville/EVW Flying Bulldogs this next season? Then this is the program for you. Students will work with the varsity coaching staff on getting ready for the competitive season. Floor, Bars, Beam and Vault will be covered. 50% of the fee will be refunded to each gymnast at the completion of the season if they help setup the equipment and assist an average of 3 hours per week coaching the youth gymnasts.

    The camp will be focused on the 3 offensive skills of dribbling, shooting, and passing. Each day will start with fundamentals and build toward competitive play. Some advanced skills will be taught as well aimed towards scoring. The camp will be instructed by the Varsity Program coaching staff and players.
  • COR Robotics

    RC WARS Gr 3-9 In RC Wars, teams of students will build their own Remote Control vehicles to race and battle against other teams. Students will need to design their vehicles to not only be faster and stronger than other teams’ creations, but also better than purchased RC Cars and Drones! RC Wars will feature land and air races, obstacle courses and more as students learn mechanical and electrical building skills in an energetic and exciting environment. RC Boats & ROV Basics Gr 3-9 Set sail on a hands-on engineering adventure in RC Boats & ROV Basics! Students will dive into the science of buoyancy, hull design, and waterproofing as they work in teams to test and modify remote-control boats. Along the way, they’ll experiment with stability, thrust, and maneuverability before putting their creations to the test in timed trials and obstacle challenges. If a pool or pond is available, the final day shifts outdoors for exciting capstone runs; otherwise, indoor test bins keep the action flowing. With plenty of teamwork, problem-solving, and splashy fun, this camp makes STEM unforgettable.

When? August 17-21 Where? Paynesville Schools Band Room This special camp is designed to give you a head start before the school year begins, so when we start full band rehearsals, we can play together right away! Without band camp, it would take 2-3 weeks before we could make music as a whole group – and trust us, playing together is way more fun! What to Expect: Learn the basics of your instrument in small groups Gain confidence before the first full band rehearsal Have fun making music with new friends Wrap up the week with a special Show & Tell performance on Friday!
